Things that are coming at Career Ladders
February 5th, 2008We have good things in the works for Career Ladders. It is difficult doing your every day chores at work and home and still manage to make progress with the “things”.
Teleconference will soon be here. We have been working with JD our web master and the site looks really good.
When we first envisioned telaclasses we were going to have it just for disabled vets. We have classes for them now but there is a high “no show” rate. A lot of the guys and girls don’t always feel up to leaving their home to join Anita, Sandra and myself for a long day of internet job search and job application classes.
Actually everyone who shows up really likes the class and we get top ratings from all who attend. Again, some vets have a hard time getting here so we wanted to put on the class in an alternative way just for them.
For those who are unfamiliar with tele-classes, here is how they work. We send out the material via Email (or regular mail if we use the work book we have in mind, ”Job Seekers Guide” by Kathryn Troutman. The Email also has a phone number, the date and time and a PIN number. You call at the appropriate time and we all go through the course at the same time.
